Major Sponsor announced for Poker Run in September

Grenfell Bowling Club on-board as a Major Sponsor for the 2026 Grenfell Lights Poker Run

The Grenfell Bowling Club has confirmed it's financial support for the 2026 Grenfell Lights Poker Run which will be held on the weekend of Friday/Saturday/Sunday 18-19-20 September 2026.

There will be a substantial increase in prize-money to $2,500.00 for this year which will assist in attracting car enthusiasts to the three-day event from across the Weddin Shire and from throughout NSW.

It will be the 3rd staging of the Poker Run by the Grenfell Lions Club with the support of members from the Grow Grenfell Group Inc. It is an important annual fundraiser for the Grenfell Lights project.

JEff Gallimore - President of the Grow Grenfell Group Inc said having the Grenfell Bolwing Club on-board as a Major Sponsor was a great result for the event.

"With a substantial increase in prize-money this year (up from $1,000 in 2025 to $2,500 in 2026) the decision by the Grenfell Bowling Club to be a Major Sponsor this year does reflect the growing status of our three-day car show in September which is becoming an important event of the calendar for our historic township".
