Route confirmed for 2026 Poker Run

Harden, Cootamundra and Wombat have been locked-in as the three stops for the Grenfell Lights Poker Run on Saturday 19 September.

The Grenfell Lights Poker Run will be held on the weekend of Friday/Saturday/Sunday 18-19-20 September 2026 with a substantial increase in prize-money to $2,500.00. It will be the 3rd staging of the Poker Run by the Grenfell Lions Club with the support of members from the Grow Grenfell Group.

The Poker Run route this year will take entrants from the Grenfell Bowling Club to the Harden Country Club for morning tea and then a leisurely cruise across rolling hills to the Cootamundra Golf & Sports Club for lunch. After lunch cars will depart for the run to the Wombat Hotel for afternoon tea to be followed by a scenic drive back to Grenfell for a park-up in the bottom-end of the main street.

Entrants will receive one of their five poker hand cards at each of the stops with the first poker hand shown to them before departure from the Grenfell Bowling Club.
