Installation works on commercial-grade lighting are continuing at the Catholic Church in Grenfell
The concreters arrived on Wednesday morning 27 May as installing the exterior lights on the historic St Joseph's Catholic Church continues to gather pace.

Local concreter Jeremy D'Ombraine was on hand early with the team from Makecrete Concrete Services to pour and level the concrete in the various trenches that had been dug earlier this month.
Our electrician Graeme Edwards was on site in recent days laying the conduit in the trenches at the front of the Church and will soon be adding the final touches on the installation of the four commercial-grade lights across the front of St Joseph's.
Once fully installed the four lights will operate on a computerised program from sunset to 9:35pm every night of the year with soft slow-changing colours to compliment the historic architectural features of the church.
The lights at St Joseph's Catholic Church are an important addition to the GRENFELL LIGHTS project and made possible through the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Grow Grenfell Group, a financial donation from the Grenfell Lions Club in 2025 and the generosity of Stevens Sand & Gravel, Makecrete Concrete Services and Jeremy D'Ombraine from KONK Concrete.
