Dates confirmed for 2027 Poker Run

Dates have been locked-in for the 2027 Grenfell Lights Poker Run.

The Grenfell Lights Poker Run will be held on the weekend of Friday/Saturday/Sunday 17-18-19 September 2027 with $2,500.00 in prize-money. It will be the 4th staging of the Poker Run by the Grenfell Lions Club with the support of members from the Grow Grenfell Group.

The route for Poker Run route next year is still to be confirmed.

Entrants will again receive one of their five poker hand cards at each of the stops with the first poker hand shown to them before departure from the Grenfell Bowling Club on the Saturday morning.

We will be making a call in the coming weeks on the location of the various stops along the way for next years Poker Run but certainly looking at taking cars a bit more EAST next year on the Saturday.

The change to make the Friday night of the Poker Run a Meet & Greet at the Bowling Club on the Friday night will be well received by our entrants travelling into Grenfell for the weekend as the format for the evening will not make it a late night .....AND......the Frank Sinatra Show is sure to make it a really enjoyable gathering.

Friday 17 September 2027

•            5:30pm - cars gather for a park-up at the Grenfell Silos and then cruise to the Grenfell Bowling Club.

•            6:30pm – Meet & Greet for all entrants at the Grenfell Bowling Club with Dinner, music by the Grenfell Ukulele Group, a Monster Fundraising Auction and a one hour Frank Sinatra Show featuring the very talented Anthony Grose.

Saturday 18 September 2027 - Poker Run held over 200 klm drive - $2,500 in prize-money

•            8am – Grenfell Bowling Club  - Registrations on the day @ $50 per vehicle (provides for 2 x entries) and Light Breakfast available for entrants

•            9:30am - Cars depart the Grenfell Bowling Club (First Poker Card issued) with the first stop TBC (2nd Poker Card issued) – with entrants driving to TBC for lunch (3rd Poker card) and then afternoon tea and lemonade at TBC (4th Poker card issued). The 5th and final poker hand will be issued at the Grenfell Bowling Club with a Park-Up of Cars from 4pm.

•            6pm – Entrants enjoy a dinner/dance at the Grenfell Bowling Club on Saturday night, the awarding of prizes and a Live Band.

Sunday 19 September 2027

•            Breakfast,Cars & Coffee at the Unwind Café in the Main Street of Grenfell from 8am and entrants will depart at 10:30am for brunch at the Grove Estate Winery in Young.
